We created belief…

in ArcelorMittal as the steel company of the future

Moving to the future

ArcelorMittal might have been the largest steel company in the world, but it needed to reposition itself for today’s world. That involved creating a website that would bring new meaning to its ‘inventing smarter steels for a better world’ brand promise – and that moved on from the outdated Sitecore CMS platform the company had used for years.

A building with contemporary design
An experience reimagined

Data analytics revealed that, while compelling, ArcelorMittal’s future-focused stories were siloed into sections that few people visited – and this was just one part of a fragmented user experience that made navigation difficult for users (and management near impossible for CMS editors). In response, we reimagined ArcelorMittal’s digital experience from the ground up, building an experience focused on six content pillars that build towards the company’s brand promise. By leveraging the infinite editing and clipboard functionality of Umbraco 8 as the new CMS, we improved the content-editing experience and made content entry as simple as possible.

The journey continues

ArcelorMittal’s new site is modern and future-proofed with rich, informative hero content. It has received positive feedback from all stakeholders - we look forward to continuing to optimise the site in the months and years to come.
