RY wins big at the EVCOM London Live and Film Awards
It was an exciting night for us yesterday, as a whopping four of our projects took home awards at the coveted EVCOM London Live and Film Awards.
Our Invalid Opinions film for the ILO (International Labour Organization) took home not only one, but two Golds in the 'Film in a Digital Campaign' and 'Diversity and Inclusion' categories. The film highlighted how negative preconceptions – or ‘invalid opinions’ about persons with disabilities are holding back a vast pool of talent from the recognition and opportunities they deserve.
Recycle Week 2019, the film we made for WRAP won Bronze in the 'Brand Communication' category. 2019 was the year the nation woke up to the importance of real action against climate change. Against the backdrop of climate strikes and Extinction Rebellion protests, we created a film with a tone of positive activism. An eye-catching visual identity showed the nation that there is a small, yet revolutionary act everyone can do in their homes to contribute – recycling.
Elsewhere, two of our films for JTI picked up awards. Digital Deep, a film that highlighted the dangers of cyber-attacks to its employees through a though-provoking animation won Silver in the ‘Animation’ category. Code of Conduct, a film that flipped the script on conventionally unexciting topics to encourage employees to engage in compliance training won Bronze in the 'Internal Communications' category.
Congratulations to all of the other winners - see the full list here.
