RY bags a handful of awards for standout films

Five projects win gongs at the EVCOM Clarions

17 July 2020

It was an exciting night for us at Radley Yeldar as a whopping five of our projects took home gongs at yesterday’s EVCOM Clarion awards.

Our interactive Code of Conduct film for JTI won Gold in the Innovation category. The film flipped the script on conventionally unexciting topics and to encourage employees to engage in compliance training.

Our Recycle Week 2019 film for WRAP picked up a coveted Gold in the Environment category. 2019 was the year the nation – and perhaps the world - woke up to the importance of real action on climate change and, against the backdrop of climate strikes and Extinction Rebellion protests, we created a film with a tone of positive activism. An eye-catching visual identity shows the nation there is a small, yet revolutionary act everyone can do in their homes to contribute - recycling.

In the same category, our sustainability films for VF Corporation bagged a silver award. These films helped build belief in its sustainability leadership and highlighted the hard work that is put into VF’s sustainability offer.

Elsewhere, in the Diversity and Inclusion category our Invalid Opinions film for ILO (The International Labour Organisation) won Silver. This film highlighted how negative preconceptions - or ‘invalid opinions’ - about persons with disabilities are holding back a vast pool of talent from the recognition and opportunities they deserve. The film also won a Bronze in the Brand Communications category.

Congratulations to all of the other winners - see the full list here.
