Why is it important for a leader to demonstrate ethics in business?
As seen in The Telegraph
The nature of business has shifted dramatically in recent years. Existing purely for profit is being replaced with a clear commitment from forward-thinking companies to reconcile commercial objectives with the need to improve social good.
According to research from creative consultancy Radley Yeldar, 46pc of UK adults wouldn’t work for a business they don’t believe in. Almost half of the UK public, meanwhile, says a company that doesn’t care about its impact on society or the environment would put them off using that organisation.
Building a truly ethical business might not always be the easy option, but it’s essential for any company that wants to stay in business in today’s more engaged and socially conscious society.
