Back-end Developer

We're on the lookout for a new Back-end Developer to join our growing team here at RY. The key role of the Back-end Developer is to provide support to Senior and Lead Developers in developing projects in Umbraco and/or Kentico ensuring our thinking and designs are translated into digital solutions and products that work seamlessly, look great and are accessible. As well as working on new builds, sites and campaigns, the Back-end Developer will also work on business as usual and maintenance on existing client sites.

QA Tester

The quality assurance tester is an essential role within the technology team at RY. The main purpose of the role is to carry out manual testing of work which has been produced by the wider team. This is to ensure quality throughout projects, enabling RY to deliver work at a consistently high standard.

The role also plays a key part in supporting developers and project managers in ensuring quality of delivery, this can be achieved through helping to define acceptance criteria and definitions of ‘done’. These definitions will be used to benchmark projects against and are key in providing quality at every stage of a project.


Responsibilities include:

Manual testing

- Using previous skills and experience to manually test software and web applications.

- Communicating defects to developers and project management team, providing solutions where appropriate.

- Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are fulfilled.

Establishing best practice procedures

- Working with other colleagues to establish procedures, standards and systems, all adhering to best practice ways of working.

- Setting customer service standards across all projects.

Creative Traffic Manager / Resource Manager

We are looking for a Creative Traffic Manager to join us here at RY. The Traffic Manager will work directly with our creative team, helping facilitate the flow of client projects, internal work, pitches and proposals whilst identifying what additional people and skills we need across the team. Radley Yeldar is growing and, it is important that we can plan what existing and pipeline project work we have coming into RY, on a short, mid and long-term basis, enabling the team to deliver brilliant work and feel happy and motivated.

Responsibilities

- Manage workflow across the creative department, from short term trafficking to medium- and long-term planning.

- Manage trafficking queries across the creative department based on team capacity knowledge and skill sets.

- Making sure that all projects are resourced accurately, making maximum use of the resource available.

- Working with Project Managers, reviewing scopes and timelines; ensuring the creative team are well-briefed, supported and deliver successfully and on time.

- Manage the connections between people, time and deliverables efficiently.

- Meet and greet freelancers on arrival, ensuring they meet the right people and feel welcomed to RY.

- Identify potential gaps in resource and source freelancers with the relevant skills when required. Checking availability and rates.

Project Manager

We’re looking for a smart, enthusiastic integrated Project Manager to join our Brand Engagement team here at RY. Business Development Executive

Our business development team are responsible for driving growth for RY. They have the skills to take our business objectives and strategy and translate that into new revenue.

They map prospective clients, identifying where there may be appetite for our services and the budget to procure them. They engage intelligently to ensure we are an agency of choice for our prospects, then working with our strategy and client services teams to win pitch opportunities. We're looking for a Business Development Executive to be the growth partner for one of RY’s offer areas, generating a pipeline of opportunities and helping the business develop these into client relationships.

Responsibilities include

- Ensure opportunities are in-line with company growth goals and qualified against RY’s strategic, commercial and operational requirements.

- Ensure that we can articulate why a prospect should choose RY, rather than one of its competitor set.

- Help instill a best practice approach to new business within RY.

Senior Creative Artworker

This is a brilliant opportunity to join our award-winning independent creative agency at the heart of Shoreditch. Working in close conjunction with Designers and Client Services from initial briefing stage, through to finalising artwork for print and digital media production, the Senior Creative Artworker is responsible for delivering various elements of the project on time and specification.

You'll need to be able to work in a high-pressure environment. From concept through to final delivery you will be creating the highest quality designed materials for integrated campaigns, social media, digital platforms, press advertising and outdoor media. You will preferably have advertising, marketing and digital experience with strong print and artworking skills, and be able to manage various projects at one time. Having a strong understanding and versatile approach to layout is key.

The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and have extensive industry experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior position. You must be able to provide examples of integrated campaigns, social media, brochure layouts, press and digital display advertising.

− Being acknowledged in the business as an expert Creative Artworker, who is technically strong, up to date with the latest technology and an experienced go-to person in relation to a set of clients and projects.

The Project Director will be the first point of contact for the delivery of sustainability reports and will have a pivotal management role to play in client development, retention and growth opportunities.

Artworker

We are looking for an Artworker to join our Birmingham office. As part of the production team, you will be responsible for the artwork, QA and delivery of RY's printed collateral, as well as the creation of screen and interactive presentations, e-zines, office templates and brand assets. As an Artworker you will set up, amend and deliver finished artwork across different software platforms, to set deadlines and to an impeccable standard. You will have a strong motivation to succeed, through your collaborative nature, technical excellence, diligence and teamwork.

Responsibilities include

- Creating, amending and delivering technically sound artwork documents, utilising the most applicable software.

- At the briefing stage, or during a task, ensuring full understanding of the context of what is required and pro-actively querying any potential issues.

- Being responsible for the technical checking of your own artwork going to press, obtaining internal sign-off from the project team, requesting all relevant technical information, and providing production specification sheets and paper proofs to the Print department.

We are looking for a Senior Designer to join our Birmingham Office, in the heart of The Jewellery Quarter. Project Assistant

This is a brilliant opportunity to join our award-winning independent agency in the heart of The Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. Project Assistant's at RY add valuable support to the Client Service team. This involves adding administrative value to project and client managers on their work (to give them more time to focus on growing clients and delivering better projects), as well as working with more senior members of the client group team, including the Group Client Director, to undertake research and other tasks that contribute to project and client development.

Responsibilities include

- Working on live projects with Project Managers, looking after the day-to-day admin tasks (writing up meeting notes/setting up project numbers/setting up meetings/putting together budget reports/being on call for ad hoc client queries etc). Senior UX Designer

Our digital creative team champion user centric research and insights, architect standout digital experiences and optimise user interfaces. They help our clients create B2B websites, as well as digital tools and delivering on-going site enhancements.

The Senior UX Designer will be the spokesperson for RY’s user experience offering. You’ll plan, manage and carry out all UX and user research activities and be able to provide in depth consultancy to our clients. The Senior UX Designer's role is to ensure that the 'user experience' is as efficient and pleasurable as possible. You'll work collaboratively with other members of the digital team and the wider business to ensure that products and services meet client needs.

Responsibilities include

- Provide high value User Experience and User Research consultancy to our clients.

- Plan, manage and carry out all UX, Information Architecture and User research activities.

- Plan and prioritise all digital discipline sales activities, including pitches and presentations to clients.

- Deliver sitemaps, wireframes, user journeys and prototypes and setting the benchmark with all UX documentation for the rest of the team to follow.

- Liaise regularly with clients to ensure that designs meet their requirements and core business objectives.

Analyst

We're looking for an Analyst to join our Investor Engagement consultancy team at RY. Team work is essential, with collaboration across the business; working with and learning from experienced consultants. This is role is a great stepping stone to becoming a consultant at RY.

Our investor engagement team advises companies across Europe, from blue chip multinationals to private companies about to list, on how to communicate with their investors. This is done primarily through their annual report, a document that brings together complex and disparate information to meet the needs of a wide range of stakeholders. Our job is to help companies convey this information in an engaging way by combining the skills of our designers, communication consultants and project managers who bring everything together and deliver the final report, online and in print.

Your role will be to help us keep abreast of developments at the companies we work with and the issues they face. In addition, you’ll need to keep on top of annual reporting, new initiatives and help us produce our industry leading research (How Does It Stack Up?) and blog posts. You will be helping us secure new business generating insights on the companies that invite us to tender and then help us exceed their expectations with insightful research that gets to the heart of their business.


Responsibilities include

Research

- Working with clients and consultants to define the brief. A good brief brings clarity to the task, the client’s needs and helps to define the research criteria to cover.

- Defining the scope of the project, including how the research will be conducted and which sources to use. It’s the Analyst’s responsibility to make sure the scope is neither too wide nor too narrow and to always work within the client’s budget and brief.

- Leading primary research assignments using a variety of methods, including document analysis, surveys, case studies, focus groups and interviews (face-to-face, telephone and/or online) as well as conducting desk research when required.

Insight

- Analysing and interpreting the data to identify patterns and unlock solutions. Advising how best to turn the research into useful insights that shape our recommendations.

Growing the Business

- Contributing to marketing content and collateral which may include white papers, research projects, events, articles, social content etc.

- Contributing to pitches, including providing support, content or research that helps to underpin the core idea.

- Keeping abreast of industry developments, trends and technologies and responding to the opportunities and risks they create. Feeding this information into the client planning process.
