Supporting with our permanent vacancies across our different internal disciplines, including; digital, brand, marketing communications, film, employee engagement, creative, and sustainability. Working with the Recruitment Manager, you’ll be responsible for co-ordinating interviews, sourcing candidates directly, talent admin and helping us to actively improve our candidate experience. At times, you will also own some of the roles yourself, overseeing recruitment all the way from brief until offer stage.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Recruitment Manager on day to day recruitment admin
  • Looking after allocated roles (usually Junior roles) from brief to delivery
  • Screen call candidates to make sure they are right for the role
  • Liaising directly with candidates and hiring managers to coordinate interviews and ensuring CV, rooms and any further info is provided ahead of the meeting
  • Attending briefing meetings with the Recruitment Manger to ensure an in depth understanding of roles and team requirements in order to source and screen candidates
  • Responding to ad hoc queries regarding resourcing issues
  • Help in sourcing direct candidates through various channels (social, events, recommendations, job boards, recruitment tools)
  • Assistance in writing job ads, ensuring advertising is up to date across various job boards and RY.com
  • Help coordinate cvs via recruitment agencies if required
  • Filter applications that come into the talent inbox
  • Upload new candidates onto our applicant tracing system
  • Competitor analysis

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working in a Recruitment Assistant/ Coordinator role. This can be from a recruitment agency or an in-house role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A great organiser and very well organised themselves
  • An excellent listener and interpreter of what is being said in meetings. A producer of notes and actions points which are both accurate and well-laid out
  • Strong prioritising skills
  • Well organised, manages time well – always on top of their ‘to do list’
  • Meets deadlines and takes personal accountability for the work they do
  • Warm, empathic and friendly, but assertive enough to get results. Colleagues respond positively to requests and invites.
  • Is discreet, compassionate and totally trusted with confidential information
