Mace is behind some of the world’s most iconic buildings. In the year of their 25th anniversary, they wanted to share their story in the most exciting and imaginative way possible.


Mace is an international consultancy and construction company, offering integrated services across the full property and infrastructure life cycle. Specialising in finding better solutions to complex infrastructure and property challenges, they have a real ‘customer first’ mentality and an unwavering dedication to finding a better way, all underpinned by high-quality delivery.

With a milestone anniversary approaching, they asked us to look at how we could present 25 years of delivering iconic projects in a way that captures market attention, inspires audiences and drives contact.

We wanted to tell the story of Mace through a showcase of projects that represented their spirit of adventure, their passion, quality and their commitment to a better way.

A unique world made entirely by Mace

Together we created Mace World – an interactive, living, breathing digital world showcasing over 60 of Mace’s most memorable achievements in a purpose-built city landscape.

Mace Town Planners laid out a 2D vision of a new world, divided into seven districts highlighting key construction and infrastructure projects across geographies, sectors and services. The initial plan was then created as a full 3D digital model where video fly-throughs allow you to view some of the world’s most iconic buildings and infrastructure projects.

From there, you enter each district where you sense the scale and diversity of what Mace does. Conveying a sense of connected living through a ‘life-layer’ of moving traffic and soundscapes unique to each district, the site’s bold design, beautiful interactions and intuitive functionality enable you to browse and access key information quickly.

A view of the future

Mace World is a ground-breaking way to celebrate a selection of the highlights the company has achieved over the last 25 years and offers an insight into what the next 25 may bring.

Launched at MIPIM, the leading market event for construction and real estate industry, Mace World created a real impact and received high praise from its 21,000 delegates.

It has received more than 47,000 unique users in 12 months, and it has more than doubled the time people spend on Mace’s website.

Mace World was awarded the ‘Best use of digital from the property sector’ category at the 2015 Digital Impact Awards.

Mace World tells the story of who we are as a business and how we’ve got to where we are today. Our teams across the world are working with our clients on some fantastic projects, and Mace World is a brilliant platform to showcase the breadth and depth of these.
