Costain needed flexible and adaptable website, designed with a 'mobile-first' experience in mind, to tell their unique story. It also needed to reach beyond traditional corporate audiences. In particular, the content had to address the needs of customers and cross-sell a broad range of services.
Through detailed analysis and a series of stakeholder workshops, we carefully considered their positioning, values and branding. We then developed a core creative idea and crafted the entire website around it.
We positioned Costain as a brand that meets national needs and positively impacts people’s lives. This required a complete refresh of the design and content with more precise messaging which built on their heritage. We also developed their visual identity and tone of voice, adding videos, blogs and case studies to encourage exploration. The site was built on Umbraco 7 and optimised for mobile and tablet.
Costain now has a beautiful and responsive new website that showcases their expertise, innovation, culture and people. It’s easy to navigate and it tells their story in a way that’s simple to understand and provides an excellent cross-selling tool for their business development team.
