Solvay, a global chemical
and pharma company, had
grown fast by acquisition,
our work helped unify the
employees around a single
business.

The challenge
As a global chemicals and pharmaceutical business, Solvay has grown steadily through acquisitions but at the same time needed to ensure that its brand remained consistent across all its disparate investments. This was just as important internally as it was externally, as it needed to ensure that its DNA reached into every corner of its business and that its people fully understood the behavioural drivers that unified the company.

The solution
We closely examined the messaging and creative concepts that would work across all the businesses within the Solvay portfolio, and across all the geographic boundaries that the company crossed. A central theme of 'looking at Solvay differently' was developed and utilised as a platform to develop a range of communications tools and materials. A launch brochure was created to present the company's mission, vision and values, as well as clarifying what Solvay staff needed to do next. To reinforce the 'vision' theme 3D typography was used and 3D glasses were provided to bring the message home.
