A rebrand for
investment manager
Hermes articulates the
idea of 'solid brilliance'
which draws on the
unique strength of
their heritage, as well as
communicating their
new strategic direction.

The challenge
Hermes is an independent multi-specialist asset manager. They needed a new brand that would accurately reflect their new business strategy and structure and that would allow each of their specialist teams to maintain their brand equity.

The solution
The new visual identity is designed to express the idea of 'solid brilliance', a company that is both innovative and insightful, pragmatic and robust. The identity also allows flexibility for the specialist teams, enabling them to create their own individual look and feel within the overall Hermes brand framework. The brand guidelines were created as a straightforward introduction of the new business structure and visual identity system.
